We have been bridging the gap between climate research and society since 2007.

We engage in dialog with society, identify information needs and pass these on to research institutions.

We initiate collaborations with other scientific disciplines and apply for inter- and transdisciplinary projects.

We provide the media, public organizations and decision-makers from business and politics with direct access to scientific information on climate and regional climate change.

We use the expertise of the Institute for Meteorology and Climate Research and the KIT Center for Climate and Environment as well as other institutions at KIT and in southern Germany.
