Mobile Measuring Station KLOCX

Student assistant for KLOCX (Karlsruhe Low Cloud Exploratory Platform)

We are looking for a student assistant to support us in the maintenance of our mobile measuring station KLOCX (Karlsruhe Low Cloud Exploratory Platform). KLOCX is part of the pan-European research infrastructure ACTRIS aiming to produce high-quality data and information about low level clouds and fog.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with setting up instruments for measurement campaigns at different locations (e.g. black forest)
  • Regular maintenance of the devices
  • Programming of read-in routines for different measuring devices
  • Quality control of the measurement data

A driver's license would be an advantage.
